Find a way, not an excuse...

We all have a way of coming up with excuses for why we aren't doing what we could/should be doing, right? We let ourselves off the hook for not putting in the time and work to get to what's really possible. And we do it with the little things, as well as the big things.

For example, when it comes to losing weight and getting in shape... I hear things like: "I'm too busy" ... "I don't have time" ... "I've tried and just can't do it" ... "I can't control my eating" ... "I've had too many kids" ... "I'm too old" ... "I have too many physical ailments or limitations" ... "It's in my genetics" ... "It's too hard"... and the list goes on.

But if we really want to make our dreams a reality, we have to first believe they are possible. Then we have to conquer our excuses that are standing in our way. I know it's easier said than done, as I've had my own share to battle with. But I also know it's doable, and you can do it.

Instead of turning one post into a book, I will address different excuses from time to time in separate posts. Keep your eye out for them... and in the meantime, pay attention to what excuses you might currently be using to keep you from realizing your dreams. What's been holding you back?

Find a way, not an excuse!
